OUR HISTORY
Established in 2019 by three citizens of the world, Ethitra relies on solid professional experience and a network of experts and trusted partners in various fields: translators, writers, interpreters, digital project managers, experts in communication and public affairs, technical Web specialists, etc.
Ethitra’s functioning is inspired by the ethical values of its founders: a sense of responsibility and commitment with respect to our clients, concern for others, professional achievement, transparency and fairness.
Our aim is to help companies undergoing international expansion to overcome linguistic and cultural barriers thanks to a unique combination of technical expertise, enthusiasm and a vision centred on the positive and transforming role of communications in the world.

Co-founder – Managing Director
A graduate of the highly reputed Parisian school for interpreters and translators ESIT, I sought to capitalize on my skills in the service of major French and European companies. My career took me to Europe and Asia: providing training for subsidiaries, training and evaluating translators in several languages, introducing various language technologies and preparing teams across the world for ISO 9001 certification (Quality Management System) in the services field. I am convinced that the human aspect and working closely together with all stakeholders are keys to the success of any company.
MARINA KHIZHNYAK
Co-founder – Project Manager – Translator
After a number of years’ experience in large groups, I wanted to be part of a project that was different, in terms of both size and mentality. Ethitra is the realization of this desire: I appreciate working in a smaller structure where it is important that your effort has a sense to it. Proposing translations by people for people and according value to the choice of just the right word – so essential at a time when words are often abused – these ideals so close to my heart resonate with our clients, concerned with the quality, consistency and sense of their communications.

Since my arrival at Ethitra at the beginning of 2023, I have been lucky enough to coordinate wide-ranging projects. Managing translation projects is playing a pivotal role between translators and clients, seeing multilingual projects through from beginning to end to ensure top quality, and constantly developing your culture and expertise in many areas. When you like the challenges of working between cultures, appreciate linguistic subtleties and enjoy contact with people, each day is a journey!
